We founded AVYNO to create an alternative brand that translates culture, care and quality into thoughtful luxury products, without traditional mark ups by operating a direct to consumer model by selling and engaging directly to our customers.
The brand name AVYNO was derived from the French word ‘AVENIR’ which means future; this describes our forward thinking mindset that we apply into our products and our services.
Our journey started in 2014, we realised after exhibiting on trade-shows and selling wholesale to retailers, that this traditional business model isn’t efficient anymore, as consumers end up always paying more on the product, due to factors such as retail markups, traditional marketing and distributors.
We saw an opportunity to circumvent those traditional channels to create luxury products, that reflects our foundational and operational principles.
Our designs are mostly inspired by cultural references, remaining simple and elegant.
To ensure that our customers get the best products at great value, all our production processes, from sourcing the materials to designing the shoes are all done in-house.
